Around Dhaulagiri Trek - 26 Days

Dhaulagiri Circuit TrekkingWhite mountain, separated from the Annapurna region by Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, includes some fifteen peaks above 7000m. This region, considered to be one of the most remote places of the Federal Democratic Re-public Nepal, has abundance of Himalayan peaks, hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping vistas. The Trans-Himalayan journey is quite, peaceful and full of adventure and excitement. Trekking in this area is relatively strenuous but trekkers willing to spend their holidays amid nature and natural surroundings full of peace and tranquility chose this ‘off the beaten track’ trekking destination.

Around Dhaulagiri Trek Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu; Greet and meet you at airport; Transfer to hotel; Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Half day guided city tours (Include world heritage sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati Nath Temple, Swayambu Nath and Buddha Nath Stupa); Afternoon pre-trip discussion of the trek; Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Beni; (8-9 hrs.).

Day 04: Trek from Beni to Babiyachaur; (5-6 hrs.); 1000 mtrs.

Day 05: Trek from Babiyachaur to Dharapani; (6-7 hrs.); 1565 mtrs.

Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Muri; (5-6hrs.); 1850 mtrs.

Day 07: Trek from Muri to Bagar; (5-6 hrs.); 2050 mtrs.

Day 08: Trek from Bagar to Dovan; (5-6 hrs.); 2630 mtrs.

Day 09: Trek from Dovan to Italian Base Camp; (5-6 hrs.); 3500 mtrs.

Day 10: Acclimatization day. It is a day of relax because next day will be tough day.

Day 11: Trek from Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp; (5-6 hrs.); 4250 mtrs.

Day 12: Trek from Glacier Base Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp; (4-5 hrs.); 4650 mtrs.

Day 13: Acclimatization day. Next day will be constantly at an altitude of 5,00-6000 m, so this day is essential.

Day 14: Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden valley Camp; (3-4 hrs); 5000 mtrs.

Day 15: Hidden Valley Camp, A rest day to admire the surrounding peaks and perhaps do some exploring.

Day 16: Trek from Hidden Valley Camp to Yak Kharka; (5-6 hrs.); 5200 mtrs.

Day 17: Trek from Yak Kharka to Marpha; (4-5 hrs.); 2670 mtrs.

Day 18: Trek from Marpha to Kalopani; (5-6 hrs.); 2500 mtrs.

Day 19: Trek from Kalopani to Tatopani (Hot spring; 6-7 hrs.); 1190 mtrs.

Day 20:. Rest day and Relax in Hot spring.

Day 21: Trek from Tatopani (Hot spring) to Ghorepani; (7-8 hrs.);2870 mtrs; Poon Hill (Sunrise and Sunset view point);3210 mtrs.

Day 22: Trek from Ghorepani to Hille; (4-5 hrs.); 1500 mtrs

Day 23: Trek from Hille to Nayapul; (2½-3 hrs.); 1100 mtrs. And drive back to Pokhara; Overnight at hotel.

Day 24: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu; free in Kathmandu; Overnight at hotel

Day 25: Drop to airport for your final flight departure.

Trip Cost Includes
